Play Your Way
While Play is the Thing offers several structured, formal classes and productions each year, our goal is for you to engage in a way that is genuine and tailored to your needs.
We're eager to collaborate on your ideas and interests!
Play is the Thing founder, Jamie Wilcox, believes that
theatre is magic and can change the world.
Theatre is truly a team sport and we believe theatre and play can be used to teach any subject.
The benefits of theatre participation are too many to number, but here is our short list of favorites:
- increased self-confidence
- creative problem-solving skills
- collaboration and sense of community
- respect and responsibility
- empathy and building character (both on and off the stage)
We could go on and on...
